The journey to Mipande is an experience in itself. From Guludo Beach Lodge you will take a traditional sailing dhow past Guludo's long deserted beach, round the corner into a mangrove forest, often passing humpback dolphins, crocodiles, monkeys playing in the trees and an incredible aray of birds. From there you continue upstream into a small winding path weaving in and out of the magnificant mangrove trees until the trees part the water and you arrive at Mipande. The site for Mipande Bush Lodge is stunning with views out over savanah and coastal forest home to elephants, lions, leopards, wild dog and impala to mention just a few.
