Nema intends on develop on a successful project in Southern Tanzania that uses football as the media of teaching children about HIV/AIDS. Children must sit in a series of classes about HIV/AIDS, each time taking a test at the end of each class. If the children/teenagers pass the test they receive football coaching and enter a league.At present at least 128,000 young people live with HIV or AIDS in Mozambique and infection rates are rising. This project aims to significantly reduce the infection rate amongst young people and help stem this rise in the Guludo area.
